Install AutoSock on the top half of your tire. Pull down AutoSock as far as possible.

PASSENGER CARS
AutoSock is designed for passenger cars. The SOCKS can be fitted to all vehicles, regardless of their technical characteristics: front or rear wheel drive, two-wheel or four-wheel drive. There are socks for all tyre sizes currently on the market.
This is a universal system, recommended by the major European brands, and also distributed by them in some countries.
LOW-SKIRTED CARS
Many cars have low skirts that make fitting snow chains difficult, and sometimes impossible. This is particularly the case for performance cars produced by Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.
The SOCKS can be fitted to the tyres of these cars without difficulty thanks to their flexible polyester structure and their ease of adjustment.
CARS WITH STABILISERS
Snow chains should not be fitted to vehicles equipped with electronic stability control (ABS, ESP etc.). The presence of chains alters the information transmitted to the vehicle's electronic brain, thus reducing safety.
AutoSock ensures that the information from the wheels is transmitted exactly to the electronic control systems.
HIGHWAYS
AutoSock is the only product of its type you may use on the highway and is the only textile traction device approved by authorities in Switzerland for use in areas where snow chains are mandatory.
CERTIFIED BY LEADING INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
AutoSock is the first product worldwide to be certified according to new European standard EN16662-1:2020. Following EU procedures, the standard has been implemented as national standard in all EU member states, as well as in Norway, Switzerland, Serbia and Turkey. This means, AutoSock for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles below 3,5 t gross weight can now be used whenever snow chains are mandatory in any country of the EU and Switzerland.
Since October 2020 AutoSock is legally accepted as a snow chain alternative in Switzerland.
AutoSock for cars already complies with French winter driving regulations and can be used when snow chains are required in France, Italy, Spain, Andorra, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia. Since 2008, AutoSock for passenger cars has also been certified according to ÖNORM V 5121.
Research, development as well as certification and approval for AutoSock take place in close cooperation with leading car manufacturers as well as international accredited certification bodies. In addition to other certifications according to international safety and performance standards, AutoSock is also approved according to the in-house standards of many car manufacturers, including BMW Group, Seat, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan or Volvo.
With immediate effect: AutoSock for passenger cars legally accepted snow chain alternative throughout the EU and Switzerland
As of today, AutoSock for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles are legally accepted throughout the European Union and Switzerland when snow chains are mandatory.
AutoSock is the first product worldwide to be certified according to new European standard EN16662-1:2020. Following EU procedures, the standard has been implemented as national standard in all EU member states, as well as in Norway, Switzerland, Serbia and Turkey (see list below).
At the same time, any conflicting national standards were withdrawn by November 30th, 2020. In Austria for example, the ÖNORM V5117 does no longer exist and was replaced by ÖNORM EN 16662-1:2020 7 15, effective December 1st, 2020. In addition, AutoSock obtained homologation in Switzerland already in October 2020.
In short, AutoSock for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles below 3,5 t gross weight can now be used whenever snow chains are mandatory in any country of the EU and Switzerland.
